HVAC equipment, Internet of Things (IoT) for HVAC, energy management, aftermarket service support and replacement parts, and turnkey solutions.
Independently fabricate and assemble structural steel and piping components and install various pieces of equipment in accordance to engineering drawings and specifications. Mentor, guide, and develop the skills and work assignments of less experienced welders.
- Fabricate pipe in horizontal (fixed – 5G and rolled – 1G), inclined (fixed – 6G) and vertical (fixed – 2G) positions.
- Read, interpret and troubleshoot engineering drawings.
- Determine project requirements – scope, assembly sequences, and bill of materials according to engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Calculate the quantity, size, and quality of material required.
- Anticipate and address potential issues prior to and during structure fabrication/assembly and equipment and/or piping installation.
Skillfully perform all Level 2 duties and responsibilities.
HS Diploma or GED required.
1G MIG positioned and 6G MIG welding certifications are required.
6-10 years progressive welding and fabrication experience is required. HVAC or construction experience strongly preferred.
