We are looking for a career oriented veterinary assistant to work in a well equipped, family oriented small animal practice.

Our practice offers digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry, in-house lab and advanced patient monitoring systems.

Applicants should have at least 1 year (6 months) experience working as a veterinary assistant and will be required to assist in reception and help clean the hospital.
Duties will include; assisting in reception and our technician. Helping with drawing blood, placing I.V. catheters, administering medication, taking x-rays, restraining patients, assisting with anesthesia and in surgery, performing dental cleanings, patient nursing care, general hospital cleaning, answering phones, checking clients in and out and going over treatment plans with clients.

Full time positions will be 4 or 5 days a week and some weekend work is required. Part time positions are negotiable. Your shifts will include closing the hospital so you must be available until after 6 p.m. during the week and Saturdays until after 1 p.m. when all work is completed.
