Treasury Associate – Stamford, CT 06902

Essential Duties

  • Review expense reports that have been submitted by domestic and international employees through Concur
  • Audit expense reports to ensure the charges are in compliance with company reimbursement policies and have proper receipts included
  • Respond to employee or manager inquiries relating to reimbursement status
  • Assist in compliance audits when needed
  • Maintain Concur data such as cost center updates and active / inactive status
  • Assist employees with their AMEX expenses
  • Provide customer service, training and support to end users
  • Maintain a strong relationship with internal and external clients
  • Trouble shoot general ledger batch errors and correct them for resubmission
  • Act as Concur user help desk for all employee questions, assisting with interpreting how to submit certain expense items, password resets, new employee set up, system updates, cost center maintenance, project codes, and troubleshooting system problems
  • Provide a higher level of assistance to administrative assistants in completion of more complicated senior executive expense reports
  • Troubleshoot Concur issues with the Concur Company help desk
  • Build and execute ad-hoc expense intelligence reports using “Query” and “Report Studio”
  • Assist with system changes and testing as needed
  • Reconcile Concur batches posted to SAP general ledger daily to making sure every batch is posted correctly
  • Assist with other tasks in the Treasury Department including remote deposits, balance reporting, completing daily Excel schedules and obtaining signatures on checks
  • Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedule priorities
  • Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures and regulations
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with SAP is strongly preferred


Experience & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working preferably with Concur Travel and Expense
  • Prior treasury experience preferred
