All about the Role:

  • Produce new membership sales and renewals
  • Sale of domestic and international airline tickets, cruises, tours, hotels, car rental, train reservations and obtaining group travel and motor coach tours
  • Sales and promotion of sundry products (luggage, consignment tickets, merchandise, etc.) and of AAA financial and insurance products
  • Achieve all sales goals as set forth by OAC
  • Place outbound calls to members to encourage membership renewal and promote store events and vendor offers
  • Council members on auto travel vacations, prepare TripTiks and distribute maps and Tour books
  • Assist clients with foreign documents (e.g. visa, passport, International Driving Permit and Inter-American Driving Permit)
  • Maintain knowledge of OAC/AAA preferred vendor program, membership, products and services
  • Attend educational opportunities as needed
  • Document all sales opportunities within OAC’s leads management system
  • Upkeep of store appearance
  • Participate in community outreach events as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Sales experience or knowledge of sales concepts
  • Willingness to learn and practice new sales techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc…)
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry for extended periods every day
  • Ability to maintain good internal and external customer relations at all times
  • Strong knowledge of North American geography as well as general knowledge of world geography
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
