Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in sales.
Experience with influencing product engineering, product management, sales support in developing product/solution messaging/narratives and value propositions.
Experience interfacing and selling to mobile network operators, with knowledge of their business models and operational practices
Track record of successful sales management.
Working knowledge of SIP-based communications and in IMS services with a broad understanding of mobile network services and architecture.
Ability to communicate effectively, and especially to succinctly translate technical information for a non-technical audience
Excellent cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will provide our Business Development team with experienced customer facing technical representatives to support our global Rich Communication Services (RCS) business development activities. You will assist fellow Partner Program and Business Development Googlers by problem-solving key technical challenges for our customers. Additionally, you will liaise with the Product and Engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to our RCS partner solution.

Act as the technical expert to support the engagement process, from initial exploratory discussions and technical evaluation through to delivery handoff. Apply experience, practical knowledge and judgment in driving the technical evaluation process, which may include PoCs, across multi-level internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with partner program managers and the Business Development team, under the direction of our Head of Partner Architecture, to develop technical specifications for service launch. Bring technical credibility to our partner engagement process, presenting and engaging confidently with partners at a cross-functional level – technical, commercial and marketing
Collaborate with our Partner Program Managers to scope service launches and hand off to our delivery team. Work on the production of product and sales support documentation.
Identify opportunities for service development and innovative solutions, feeding back into our Product Management team. Build relationships with the Product Management team to bring understanding of regional customer product requirements including how it relates to roadmap.
Travel extensively in your region in support of partner engagement activities.
