Team Leader
The required schedule for this position will be 40 hours in 4 shifts, inclusive of a weekend day.
Summary:
The primary focus of Becket’s Adult programs in New Hampshire is in fostering the clients’ ability to become autonomous, competent, and connected with others across all areas of their functioning. Becket Adult ITS residential programs serve individuals aged 21 years old and over who have been identified as high risk-high need. Typically, these individuals have experienced considerable adversity and traumatic experiences in their lives. The individuals we serve have challenging behaviors including problematic sexual behaviors, forensic involvement, fire setting behaviors, and situational aggressive behaviors towards others and/or property. Each program challenges and assists each individual to become more productive and active members of their community. Becket offers onsite services and supports provided by highly trained staff. This includes an array of services to enhance the quality of life for each person served. Individualized clinical and behavioral treatment; counseling services; independent living skill development; vocational/educational skill development; and relationship-oriented coaching, mentoring, and teaching are the staples offered at this program. Further, staff-facilitated groups emphasizing self-care and social skills serve as a platform for our more specialized treatment services.
We have two homes in Bethlehem, New Hampshire which are Intensive Treatment Programs for men with various mental health diagnose.

General Responsibilities:
Assists the Program Manager in areas related to supervision and general operation of the residential program. Participates in the emergency on call system.
Duties/Responsibilities: Assists the Program Manager in training and leading all staff through:
Participation in the orientation process
Provide ongoing training for the professional development of staff
Attend all assigned meetings and training
Leads the Residential Counselors in the absence of the Program Manager and reports to the Program Manager utilizing the A.O.D. policy
Assists the Program Manager in day to day operations through:
Implementing activities of daily living; Individual Service Plan Objectives, Skills Development Plans, and any other relevant training programs
Involving individuals in social and recreational activities, community integration, and development of skills, utilizing their behavior plans
Providing job coaching, career development and pre vocational support services including teaching and training specific to each individual’s needs
Promoting a high quality of living in all areas including medication administration, meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene and leisure/recreation
Overseeing the quality and accuracy of all documentation including progress notes, behavioral data and log notes for each individual residing in the program in accordance to regulations and policies
Ensuring that all staff provide a safe and healthy environment for individuals, including in the community
Participates in the on-call emergency system and provide coverage as needed
Communicates with the Program Manager and Clinical Team around matters of resident isolation or crises
Secondary Responsibilities:
Ensures duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner
Provide direct support; be part of the staffing ratio as needed
Performs other job-related projects and activities as requested or directed
First Aid- CPR, Crises management (PABC), Certification in Medication Administration Program, Fire Safety, HIPAA, OSHA, Client Rights, and numerous other ongoing training.
Preferred Candidates will have:
A background in Human Services with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Other Requirements:
– Meet safe driver guidelines as established by employer's insurance carrier
– Transport clients as needed
– Weekend shift work required (generally either Sat. or Sun.)
– Position requires passing applicable background checks
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and one year of relevant experience.
