Strategic Sales Representative – San Francisco Bay Area, CA

We are looking for a resourceful and driven sales representative based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. You will be responsible for generating leads, pitching our SD-WAN platform, and closing business deals.

Responsibilities

  • Report to and work directly with the founders
  • Prospect and develop opportunities in SMB/SME accounts and channel partners catering to the SMB/SME market. Work with lead generation analysts. Generate qualified leads, develop new customers, and recruit new partners
  • Follow up with prospects as appropriate. Develop an account plan to sell based on business needs
  • Update and maintain sales database
  • Provide leadership and direction in the pre- and post- sales process
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive awareness, recommend strategies, engage target accounts, and progress opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects

Requirements

  • Motivated, driven, and results-oriented
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  • 4+ years of experience with B2B software and SaaS sales
  • Expertise in developing and managing channel programs
  • Experience and interest in networking, WAN, and software-defined networking technologies
  • Experience working at startups preferred
  • US citizenship/green card required
