This opportunity will allow you to partner with multiple teams and offers a variety of work. An ideal candidate will have experience in planning events, communication and/or marketing.

As Strategic Events Advisor you’ll:

  • Assist the strategic events director in the successful execution of a variety of internal and external Home Instead corporate events.
  • Coordinate sub-teams and DRIs for events (ex. graphics, video, awards, communication, registration, international presenters, etc.)
  • Manage key dates, deadlines and meeting requests.
  • Schedule rehearsals, meetings and manage calendar changes.
  • Coordinate event details with internal and external speakers, entertainers and others.
  • Coordinate offsite annual planning meetings.
  • Lead site selection, room block management, details and coordination for assigned meetings.
  • Manage final scripts and PowerPoint delivery for larger company events and meetings.
  • Post event materials and information on our intranet.
  • Participate in event design/decorating decisions.
  • Assist with coordination, writing and communication of a variety of event details – including event materials; presenter management; hotel rooming lists and upgrades; registration announcements; script assistance; registration site copy; attire, etc.
  • Communication liaison for events.
  • Manage rehearsal schedules and associated logistics; serve as a back-up for the strategic events director leading the rehearsals.
  • Assist with post-event survey preparation, evaluation and debrief invites, planning, and document input.
  • Responsible for staff meeting coordination and PowerPoints.
  • Manage and support additional events and details, as assigned.

Education, Experience and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with communication, hospitality or marketing emphasis preferred.
  • Five years of related business experience; an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

  • Understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead, Inc. and the related role to the Strategic Events department.

Financial Wellness

  • Benefits+ – This program provides funds to help make benefits more affordable for employees and their families. Employees receive $2,000 for 2021 (new employees hired after January 1, 2021 receive a prorated amount based on their benefits eligibility date).

  • Tuition Assistance – Home Instead provides employees up to $5,250 each calendar year for continuing education.
