The Sr. Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of duties related to warehouse operations in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
+ Maintain an effective inventory and quality control system, from receiving, to stocking inventory, to picking orders to assembling products, shipping inventoried parts and supplies.
+ Demonstrate proficiency with computer usage and inventory systems, and good working knowledge of basic material control principles.
+ Under moderate supervision; independently perform the more complex duties of warehouse operations; may facilitate the day to day activities of less senior warehouse workers.
+ Process associated paperwork, perform in‑house and client system entries as required.
+ Interface with common carriers, coworkers and clients.
+ Operate powered forklifts of various sizes.
+ Load and unload freight from carriers.
+ Verify quantities, part numbers, and visually inspect for damage as well as proper packaging.
+ Assist drivers as required in loading and unloading trucks; and process receiving/shipping reports, bills, manifests, and invoices.
+ Process receipts and shipments accurately.
+ Process and store parts in the correct stocking locations. Audit all packages for accuracy. Adhere to schedules.
+ Fill orders and ensure priority processing by following established procedures.
+ Pack orders in such a manner that the clients receive a quality product that meets the client’s requirements and due dates.
+ Adhere to corporate, client and site regulations and guidelines concerning safety, security and housekeeping.
+ Read and understand information contained in a variety of documents and or displayed on a terminal screen.
+ Process documents and system records in a timely and accurate manner to ensure proper accounting for all processes.
+ Resolve problems or investigate discrepancies as authorized by management.
+ Answer inquiries and provide information concerning assigned activities. Interface with transportation vendors and clients.
+ Follow established procedures for all assigned activities: receiving, storing, picking, assembling, refurbishing, washing, auditing, packing, shipping and transporting parts and products.
+ Use communications equipment such as telephones, keyboards, communication terminal, or facsimile machine.
+ Operate various forklifts as required to load and unload trailers and move material.
+ Provide assistance or training to others and or coordinate activities, as assigned.
+ Maintain Hazardous Material awareness to ensure knowledge regarding handling and moving hazardous materials.
+ Other duties as assigned by Manager or Lead.

2. Three years of experience in materials management/warehousing.
3. Valid drivers’ license in order to operate company/customer vehicles.

+ Must wear steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hardhat as well as any other required PPE.
+ Occasional exposure to weather in shipping and receiving and laydown yard.
+ Keyboard skills and visual activity associated with the use of keyboards and terminals.
+ Must be able to respond to emergency alarms.
+ Requires the ability to operate forklifts, power and hand material moving equipment.
+ Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one‑on‑one or group discussions, meetings and presentations.
+ Coping with demands (stresses) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles or dust and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
1. Technical certification or specialized training.
2. Fork truck operations experience.
3. Willingness and ability to be certified in fork truck operations and obtain a fork truck license.
4. SAP system experience
5. Understanding of warehousing terminology, measures, and concepts.
6. Warehouse operation/inventory management experience.
7. Oil and gas industry experience.
8. Offshore drilling operations experience.
9. Good computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
10. Good written and oral communication skills.
