The Speech Therapist’s primary functions are to assess, develop, and implement a plan of care. The speech therapist must practice in a safe and effective manner following the standard of care for Speech Language Pathologists. Employee must follow Speech Therapy referrals ordered by a physician and practice within the scope of service, following all operational guidelines, State licensure Act and ASHA guidelines. Employees are expected to be professionals, and actively engage in interdisciplinary teamwork, displaying excellence in customer interactions and performance improvement.
- 1-2 years experience strongly preferred.
- Licensure in the state of Florida or license eligible.
- Basic life support for Healthcare Providers certification.
Must have experience with pediatric population and adult population. The ideal candidate would be certified in vital stim or be willing to learn and willing to learn myofascial release for head and neck CA patients. Must be able to handle treatments in an OP setting.
Internal Candidates to qualify:
- Must meet all of the above requirements.
- Must meet transfer requirements as per the transfer policy.
- Must be in good standing with no corrective actions within the last 12 months.
