We are looking for a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manger that possess the passion for both great food and live music. We book over 500 shows a year in our small and intimate West Asheville music hall. The kitchen is with earshot of great music every day. The ideal candidate will have Sous Chef experience in a mix of casual to upscale casual restaurant and volume of $ 2 million a year plus. Responsibilities include executing and managing prep, cooking through service, ordering, scheduling and inventory. Service is dinner only Tuesday through Friday and brunch plus dinner on the weekends which allows for a great quality of life.
REQUIREMENTS:
~ Established culinarian with a year as a sous chef
~ Farm to table cooking background as well as strong knowledge of regional cooking
~ An individual who values and builds great work environments
~ Ready to be a part of a Owner-operated venue where focus is heavy on non-hostile attitudes
~ Strong tenure, no job hoppers
~ Passion for music
