Lift Energy is seeking someone with a demonstrated track record with Experience as Solar Service Technician to join our team! You will maintain and repair existing solar equipment.


  • Responsible for the initial installation and termination of a combiner box, sub panel, inverter
  • Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of Photovoltaic (PV) inverters, string boxes and solar panels and other components
  • Assist in the commissioning of the solar array and monitoring systems during project installation when needed
  • Ensure that PV systems are setup correctly
  • Perform re-roofs, roof repairs, drywall repairs as needed
  • Install hardware, PV modules, inverters and monitoring equipment
  • Perform commissioning of inverters and inspection of solar panels
  • Respond to corrective maintenance cases on PV inverters, string boxes and solar panels. This includes troubleshooting, testing, and repairing activities
  • Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
  • Perform voltage testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
  • Prepare reports, if needed to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts
  • Help in all areas of preventative and corrective maintenance as directed by manager with minimal supervision
  • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, maintenance and safety
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies and procedures
  • Manages multiple daily jobs

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2-4 years solar installation and electrical experience
  • Ability to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Integrity, honesty and ability to speak with customers
  • Thorough understanding of AC and DC energy
  • Common Knowledge of NEC (690.00) and local building codes
  • Ability to read and understand solar permitting plans
  • Clean DMV record and background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Ability to install residential solar PV system from start to finish including all phases of the installation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour
