Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 30+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lumident in Fort Wayne, IN for a Full-Time Shipping & Receiving Specialist. Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid training!

This regular hours for this position are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, but are subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Specialist and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases
  • Responsible daily for opening and disinfection process of incoming cases as required by SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Responsible for Case Entry of all Business Unit cases
  • Packing of all Business Unit cases
  • Prepare paperwork by sorting by Business unit to prepare for scanning
  • Enter and print doctor supplies for fulfillment
  • Follow all steps, in order, according to the Technical Team Policies to insure consistent and accurate results
  • Delivery of final product to client

  • Excellent oral communication skills to present concerns/ideas with tact and diplomacy
  • Desire to provide aide to expedite other positions for a more efficient overall team
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Strong ability to listen and comprehend instructions, following tasks through to completion
  • Typing, 35 words per minute

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptance driving record per the National Dentex Standards
  • No experience required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Repeated bending and kneeling
  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 60 pounds
  • Physical Stamina to drive for extended periods of time
  • Repeatedly getting in and out of an automobile multiple times a day
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
