Senior Software Engineer – Provo, UT 84601

Senior Software Engineer – BYU Broadcasting

BYUB maintains three TV channels and two radio stations. In addition to traditional TV and Radio distribution (cable, satellite, over-the- air), we utilize digital media technology to make live TV and radio available to a global audience on many devices.

The BYUB Digital Media Group is responsible for distribution of BYUB media via broadband technology (websites, mobile apps, OTT channels).

The Digital Media Group has three core values: Global Distribution, Innovation, and Quality, which mean:

  • Worldwide distribution of BYUB content to as many devices and platforms as possible. We measure reach in the billions.

  • We will be innovative, and be perceived as industry leaders and work within our resource boundaries.

We love the mission of BYUB and our role in helping to promote its message. Our work is performed in a highly creative and dynamic environment. Because BYUB has 24/7 operations, our Digital Media team must be ready to respond to issues that may arise outside of normal business hours. We seek to be very productive and subscribe to the idea that a small, highly dedicated and motivated team can produce results that exceed those of an ‘army’ of the unmotivated.
