Senior Project Manager – Cincinnati, OH


Project Management

  • Execute all responsibilities of senior project manager on projects assigned from bid to close of project

Team Management

  • Provide overall leadership and project support to organization and junior project engineers and managers
  • Advise and support organization in making every project successful (quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction)
  • Act as mentor to junior all project engineers, and project managers through support, mentorship, training, development and guidance
  • Assist in resolving technical and software issues for all junior project engineers and project managers
  • Advise on owner, client and subcontractor issues for all junior project engineers and project managers
  • Work to develop and prepare junior project engineers and managers for increased roles within company
  • Demonstrate through experience and expertise how upper level managers behave and work to bring jobs to successful close
  • Coordinate and schedule through the office coordinator all required project meetings
  • Forecast and maintain team/manpower schedules if assigned direct reports
  • Perform performance reviews for all direct reports if assigned
  • Maintain, and track employee goals for direct reports if assigned

Field Management

  • Work with labor coordinator to forecast manpower across various markets


  • Coordinate, create, and manage all proposals to ensure accurate and timely responses
  • Provide guidance to junior project engineers and project managers on estimating and projections
  • Lead the development/creation of accurate and well-presented proposals to be presented to the VP of Operations to approve
  • Create, develop, and maintain accurate historical data for estimating purposes

Market Development/Business Development

  • Work with VP of Operations and Business Development/Marketing to develop business development strategy, plan, and goals for organization
  • Leads and develops both new/existing relationships with owners, contractors, subcontractors, officials, and consultants for assigned projects and guides junior project engineers and managers in developing like skills within organization
  • Identify potential areas of project development
  • Identify and participate in industry related professional organizations to assert brand awareness and network
  • Network and maintain relationships with existing owners, contractors, subcontractors, officials, and consultants and work to develop new relationships

Technical Development

  • Lead the overall technical development of the field and office team as an industry leader utilizing the most current methods, practices, materials, and techniques
  • Research and stay abreast of current trends in relevant technology
  • Keep field and office at the technological forefront
  • Lead the development of our field staff and office staff to be the leaders
  • Work with VP of Operations to establish development goals for individual office staff

Market Reporting

  • Assist market leader in developing performance indicators
  • Populate and maintain performance indicators for creation of performance reports across markets

Minimum Qualifications

  • S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Ten years experience or fifteen years without related degree
  • OSHA 30
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of Construction Management
