Supports delivery of security, safety and parking services on campus by supervising the day to day operations of a designated shift of Security & Safety Officers in the field.
1. Promotes the security goals of crime and loss prevention through interactions with other departments, and the supervision and activities of staff.
2. Promotes the Magis goals of customer service (care, concern, respect, cooperation) through interactions with other departments and supervision of staff.
3. Handles the day to day Human Resource responsibilities of shift.
4. Provides and participates in training of officers and other employees.
5. Develops staffing schedules.
6. Assists the Safety Department in the accomplishment of safety goals and the enforcment of safety rules and regulations.
7. Assists the Parking Department in the accomplishment of parking goals through enforcment of rules and regulations, motorist assist services and traffic control.
