Job Description Summary:
The Security Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Security Department, including guest service, scheduling of employees, and ensuring that the Security Officers enforce the policy and procedures established for the Security Department as well as for the property.
Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage. Anticipates potential problems and reacts to disturbances and prohibited conduct. Responds to emergency situations as needed.
The primary role of Security Manager is to provide and protect the property, buildings, grounds and the guests for the Beachcomber and Grand Plaza Resorts which include the onsite venues; Jimmy B’s, Players for the Beachcomber and Spinners, Level 11 and Bongs for the Grand Plaza. The role is to coordinates all of the team’s activities, such as scheduling shifts and training. He ensures that all the daily security operations run smoothly and effectively.
Apart from the management role, the Security Manager also carries out patrol and other security duties himself or herself.
Must have open availability for scheduling and be able to pass a multi-state background and be a minimum 21 years of age.
