We are looking to hire a Medical Device Sales Specialist, to drive the sale of clinically differentiated Anesthesia, Respiratory and Critical Care products to the Hospital, Surgery Centers and EMS markets and achieve and succeed territory quota and revenue goals assigned. Develop and achieve MBO’s tied to areas of responsibility including but not limited to Business Planning, Operational Management, IDN/GPO strategy/Focus and Sales Quota Attainment. The candidate must be able to show demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close new sales opportunities, while consulting with the Director of Sales to enhance our selling strategy, sales process, and sales training. Our Sales Specialists call on Anesthesiologists, Respiratory Therapists, Procurement, EMS agencies and other ancillary services providing care for patients in a variety of settings. They also work with our distribution partners for success in our marketplace.
- 3+ years of Medical Device experience or 5 years of B2B Sales, Capital Equipment a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel (60%)
In order to be successful in this position, it is critical that the Sales Specialist must understand the competition, demonstrate products to end users, conduct physician proctoring, participate in trade shows, and understand customer needs/feedback/objections to influence buying decisions. Must be dependable, people and detail oriented, and goal oriented with a growth mindset and adaptable to change.
- Confirmed ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology.
- Experience in selling capital and disposable products in the hospital, surgery center and EMS markets, calling on Anesthesia/Respiratory a plus
- Understanding of how GPOs/IDNs operate and existing relationships at these entities are a plus.
