Sales Associate – Melville, NY

  • In collaboration with Sales Representatives, provide sales support in the quoting of new groups.

  • Assists with presentations of EmblemHealth products to brokers, employers and members, by telephone, in writing, and/or in person.

  • Jointly facilitate and conduct open enrollment meetings and presentations to prospective members.

  • Maintain records and oversee sales administrative procedures including new case installation.

  • Prepare reports and written correspondence, direct materials, complete forms and documents. Processing EmblemHealth RFP’s and completing EmblemHealth Benefit Summaries for internal and external sales channels

  • Advise Sales Representative on status of prospective business development strategies, competitive intelligence, and all other appropriate information necessary to develop sales opportunities and grow enrollment.

  • Represent Emblem at various functions, including sales presentations, health fairs, seminars, dinners, etc.

  • Respond to inquiries, including those conveyed by telephone, in writing, and on-site inquiries from among others, prospective and existing contractors.

  • Interact with internal and external individuals/groups.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
