We are seeking an experienced, self-driven and results-oriented
. This is an exciting, collaborative and highly impactful role that will be responsible for all commercial deliverables, tasks, and negotiations for the account. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to dive into and be part of the exciting electrification movement.
• Manage and own all commercial deliverables, tasks, and negotiations for account: pricing, quoting, invoices, purchase orders, payments, etc. (Including volume changes / CN / EDI) • Ensure Customers expectations / requests / processes are clearly understood, communicated and are being met throughout organization including HQ • Be proactive in managing customer interfaces to ensure LGE (Engineering/PM/Manufacturing) responsiveness to customer requests • Build and maintain positive customer relationships with key customer individuals • Clearly present project status in formal reviews and to customers, with appropriate detail of understanding • Provide sales forecasts and execute tactical sales plans • Achieve revenue and profit to business plan and budget • Work with pre and post-sales support team to ensure the sales processes are correctly done (Internal PO system, communication with OEM 3PL, Past due payment management) • Gather / analyze / report market and customer information • Understand competitive environment to effectively evaluate sales price and purchase price data • Support the execution of sales strategy (both long and short-term) to meet business unit objectives
• Bachelor’s Degree or above • 7+ years of experience in Automotive Account Management • Self-driven and results oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks • Quick learner and flexible to adopt to company working culture and processes • Attention to detail. • Excellent written / verbal communication and organizational skills: a) Ability to understand a customer needs and to probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer b) Ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders and make sure all deliverables are met • Capacity to identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders • Ability to work under pressure and to maintain deadlines • Strong organizational and MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint) • 10% travel required to customer site • Bilingual in Korean a plus but not necessary
• Proficiency in FCA eSupplier Connect (Supplier portal) • Prior experience as high tech supplier (preferably electric powertrain) account manager
