We are looking for a Retail Inside Sales Manager who excels at energizing teams and individuals in an inside sales environment where leads are generated through Call Center Sales Reps, mail solicitation campaigns, and inbound inquiry customer calls. This person will join our Sales Leadership team and be highly involved in growing our sales operations by helping coach, push, and develop their people into outstanding sales professionals and potential leaders. There will also be opportunities to develop new business opportunities to drive sales production.


Additional responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Ensure the success of the sales team through goal-setting, coaching, training and motivating
  • Consistently achieve sales and service quality goals
  • Assist loan officers with closing and improving their sales practices
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) of the team
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Plan and lead team meetings (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Accountable for the team’s performance, compliance, and overall contribution to the company
  • Identify areas of improvement within the team, create and execute action plans to address or increase team performance
  • Provide feedback from the sales floor to marketing, recruiting, compliance, and management
  • Depending on volume and need, intake calls and advise customers regarding various mortgage and financing options
  • Ensure adherence to AmeriHome product guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Approve team timesheets, review commission reports, and general management responsibilities including ongoing recruiting efforts, performance management and terminations
  • Exercise good judgment, excellent communication and people skills
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a current Mortgage Origination Officer License from NMLS
  • 5+ years of inside mortgage sales experience with 2+ years managing people
  • Strong experience with FHA and conventional loans
  • Experienced with Purchase and Re-fi transactions
  • Proficient with computers and loan operating systems (Encompass)
  • Worked cross-functionally with departments as needed (Marketing, Operations, & IT)
