Quality System Engineer:
Eldor Corporation is searching for a Quality System Engineer for the Production Plant located in Daleville, VA, where all the Ignition systems for the US Automotive Market will be produced.

The position collaborates for the proper functioning of the Corporate Quality Management System in accordance with IATF, assists new plants in the implementation of the management system in line with the relevant standards and corporate guidelines, performs internal audits on local plant and intraplant, promotes improvement plans for the Local or Corporate Management System, promotes Best Practices sharing among plants.

Main Responsibilities:
Management support for Quality System according to IATF

Ensure the proper management of System documentation by ensuring compliance with the standards and business procedures

Ensure availability of process indicators, collaborate to promote dissemination and knowledge for and define improvement plans based on performance

Periodically collaborate for Quality System Review

Support for the conduct of System Internal Inspection Checks, in accordance with standard standards and CSRs

Manage contacts with the Certification Body

Participating in third party periodic audits for periodic monitoring / renewal of the Quality System Certification, supports the definition of Corrective Actions in the event of non-compliance by monitoring them until closure

Participate in System Audits performed by Customers

Maintain contacts with the Security and Environment Officer with a view to establishing an integrated management system

Support new foreign plants in the development and implementation of a Quality Management System in accordance with IATF, Customer Requirements and Corporate Quality Policies

Analyze Customer Quality System Requirements (CSRs)

Propose and promote projects and programs for continuous improvement (both at Plant Italia and Interplant / Corporate level)

Periodically audit foreign plants in order to ensure the compliance of Quality Management Systems implemented to: Reference Standards, CSRs, Corporate Quality Policies

Promote sharing of Best Practices among plants Participate where required by System Audits carried out by customers to support local Quality System functions

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of IATF experience

Strong organizational skills, logical and critical thinking, problems solving approach

Systematic and analytical thinking

Good leadership and communication skills

Strong knowledge of IAFT Standards

Knowledge of the Quality System in the automotive sector

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Excellent use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PPT)
