Facility in Hartford seeking a long-term locum tenens Psychiatrist to help ASAP!
Start date depending on credentialing. looking for ASAP.
Details:
- What is the work schedule? Monday through Friday, 8:00a-4:30p. Hospital consults and rounding in the inpatient psych unit.
- On Call schedule/ratio – One week every 4 weeks 5pm to 8am Monday thru Sat 8 AM . 99% Phone consult
- Average Number of Patients Per Day? 10-12 ppd for each locum. 30 bed inpatient unit.
- Patient Demographic? All ages, 85% adult.
- APP coverage? Yes PMHNP's
- Is physician supervising APP? Yes, likely for the locum APP’s that we bring on.
–How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 3 in inpatient; 2 in outpatient; 1 in consult; 1 in JMH
- Any required experience/procedures? Level 1 trauma center, diverse patient population, required treatment disorders: anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders.
- EMR: EPIC
- Start date is once credentialing is completed, approx. 90 days from completed app
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified Psych – Required
CT license in hand at name clear – REQUIRED, no exceptions
Familiarity with Describe Referral/Transfer (C/L) – Required
Availability at time of name clear – Required
3+ years experience – Required
BLS, PALS, DEA, CSR – Required
Clean malpractice and background – Required
Local, no flights – HIGHLY PREFERRED
