Planning Analyst – New York, NY

General Description of the Role

  • Support execution of Supply Planning and Replenishment activities warehouses across North America

  • Perform monthly inventory reconciliation, supporting Replenishment Planner to optimize execution of weekly/monthly replenishment plans for warehouses across North America

  • Support the US Planning Team on planning analysis and reports required within the monthly Supply Cycle

  • Support the US Demand Planning manager ensuring the collection of all information required to elaborate on replenishment Demand for new and existing Sku’s related to Global Travel Retail Customers

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Provide data, process and analytical support to Supply Planning Team:

  • Review and setting of Inventory Targets

  • Monthly reporting/analysis on Supply Planning, analyzing KPI’s to identify key opportunities and improve supply chain performance (Days Coverage and Service Level)

Supply Planning Activities

  • Collaborate with Master Data team to create and maintain accurate master data to support effective use of the APO-SNP planning system

  • Execute routine heuristic planning runs on selected supply planning location and products portfolio, generating supply requirements according to agreed inventory targets, lead times and device levels

  • Release distribution requirement plans (DRP) by issuing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Replenishment Planning

  • Support Replenishment Planner in the creation and execution of weekly/monthly replenishment plan for warehouses across North America

  • Monitor performance of the replenishment plan on a daily/weekly basis, as needed

  • Support Replenishment Planner in performing root-cause analysis of supply issues as needed, and follow-through with corrective action

  • Execute and monitor Replenishment planning KPI

S&OP Supply Review

  • Facilitate the monthly supply review meeting supporting the Planning Team with data analysis

  • Gather relevant data, assess past performance vs. the key performance indicators (KPI), assemble an information packet and assist Planning Team to identify key issues, trade-offs and solutions in support of the monthly S&OP Review

Inventory Reconciliation

  • Perform inventory reconciliation to minimize Inventory discrepancies between Campari America Systems and Bailment State Warehouses Systems

  • Investigate identified inventory discrepancies and execute root cause analysis to propose required adjustments

  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to decide any action if inventory write up/ write down required to align figures with Bailment States Systems

Experience Required

Required

  • 3 years in Supply Chain, including hands-on experience with enterprise-class ERP

  • Hands-on experience as a user of SAP including ECC, APO and BW

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, data analytics or related field preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results according to a set of KPIs; strong follow-up and delivery on commitments

  • Analytical skills to perform summary of detailed analysis and recommendations for action

  • Ability to work effectively across functional with strong customer service orientation

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in a multi-cultural environment

Technical

  • Good understanding of supply planning fundamentals, including MRP, production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory optimization, DRP, and physical distribution
