The Physical Therapy Assistant ( PTA) will assist the Physical Therapist with all phases of physical therapy services to our geriatric patients at our assisted living facility located in Alexandria, VA The PTA will be responsible for the documentation of patients' treatment and for alerting the Physical Therapist of changes in the patient's progress. Other duties as assigned.
Legacy provides services solely to the senior population in Skilled Nursing Facilities, CCRCs, free standing Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities. We provide services under contract arrangement at skilled nursing facilities and in our numerous Medicare certified out-patient clinics. Therapeutic techniques and programs incorporate principles of rehabilitation and healthy aging, emphasizing home and community independence. Our services are both rehabilitative and preventative with a strong component of health and fitness education.
1. Associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant.
2. Current license in state of practice.
3. Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
4. Computer proficient.
