Therafit, Inc is seeking qualified applicants motivated in joining our team as an office manager. A full-time position with benefits is available to highly-qualified candidates. This is a wonderful management-level position for those with great people skills and an outgoing personality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the daily operations of the front desk specialist team.
Verify patient benefits.
Manage patient schedule.
Oversee collections and front desk management.
Oftentimes serve as the first point of contact as well as being a spokesperson for our organization and our mission.
Proficiency with computers and experience in Microsoft word/Excel.
Prior experience calling insurance adjusters, nurse case managers and physician offices as well as exceptional phone skills in a professional health care environment.
Experience in using patient electronic health records and relevant knowledge of the cycle of receiving patient intakes, obtaining insurance referrals, verification of individual health benefits, collection and verification of copayments and insurance deductibles, as well as scheduling of new patient visits.
Candidates possessing prior experience in either an outpatient orthopedic medical office or outpatient physical therapy are preferred.
Ability to multi-task with a desire to learn.
Other Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree or demonstrated equivalent college coursework.
Minimum of 2 years in a medical field-related setting.
Minimum of 2 years of training in either accounting, medical insurance experience, billing and coding.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in management, training and supervision of front office personnel.
Training will be provided in all aspects of position including our scheduling and billing software.
