Multi-Functional Finance Manager – Ocala, FL – Ocala, FL 34472

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s (MFC) Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electo-mechanical assemblies. The facility currently has over 1500 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume/high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

This position is for the Program Finance leader for Missile Programs in MFC’s facility in Ocala, FL. Manage a LOB Cost Estimator and several Cost Control employees. Effectively control all labor and non-labor costs incurred by Ocala Operations for multiple complex programs valuing over $170M; some are Earned Value Management Standard (EVMS). Support multiple LOB Program Managers, ensuring costs are accurate and within budget constraints.
Responsible for: supervision of weekly cost reporting, manpower planning, manpower variance explanations, training and mentoring of subordinate personnel and working cost issues for Program Managers. Communicating effectively with all sites’ Program Managers, Program Leads, Production Operations, and Program Finance. Also included are researching and approval of proposals in support of the Cost Estimator, working budget sign-ups with Orlando upon request following Contract Award, maintaining EACs within budgets, assisting in preparation of quarterly Cost Status Reporting (CSR) packages by program and making CSR presentations to the Business Operations Sr. Manager in Ocala, Ocala Site Director, Business Operations Director of Missiles and Fire Control, and Finance and Business Operations Vice President of Missiles and Fire Control.

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience leading and managing direct reports.

Strong presentation skills.

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Finance background and/or MBA and/or CPA.

Knowledge of DoD programs and financial systems.

Experience with manpower planning.

Experience with program financial analysis.
