Medical Billing Manager Range Urgent Care Range Urgent Care

Range Urgent Care is looking for an experienced medical billing manager for our fast growing urgent care located in Asheville, NC. This position requires previous experience in medical billing and coding. In addition to day to day billing tasks, the Billing Manager will be responsible for leading and planning the Billing Department including designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes. This position requires leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct billing practices.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily medical billing tasks including posting claims, A/R follow up, etc.
  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
  • Staff Development and meetings
  • Customer service
  • Recruiting and development of billing support staff

Qualifications include:

  • 4-5 years of medical billing experience including coding experience.
  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and problem resolution
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multi task and manage projects concurrently
  • Ability to meet appropriate deadlines for work completion
  • College degree preferred
