MECHANIC- GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT: BANGOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Bangor International Airport is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic. The successful candidate should have basic experience in diesel and gasoline engine maintenance. Primary duties involve general repairs and maintenance for all airport ground support equipment, such as ground power generators, jet engine air-starters, aircraft deicer trucks, cargo loaders, fuel trucks, etc. Additional experience in general repairs and maintenance for heavy/large equipment is desirable but not necessary. Candidate should have considerable knowledge of the standard practices, tools and equipment necessary to perform maintenance functions. Successful candidate must be certified to perform State of Maine vehicle inspections, or can obtain certification within 12 months of employment. ASE Certification is recommended, but not required.
