Global Resource Management conducts Market Research for the Travel and Tourism industry in airports throughout the nation. We are seeking to hire charismatic, well-organized Spanish speaking interviewers with a background in market research, sales and/or promotions to recruit respondents to participate in online questionnaires evaluating passenger experiences on multiple airlines flying out of IAH.

These surveys evaluate brand awareness, loyalty, customer behaviors, and satisfaction. Our studies help to improve customer service for the traveling public. Your ability to engage people from all cultural backgrounds is essential.

We are seeking a self-motivated, professional go-getter to help conduct a year-round passenger survey at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Interviewers approach passengers at airline departure gates and encourage passengers to participate in customer satisfaction surveys. Your ability to represent the airport in a busy environment and engage a variety of passengers from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds is essential.

The year-round research helps airlines like United, Aeromexico, British Airways, Air France, and Lufthansa improve service over time. The project requires professionals with the natural ability to capture people’s attention and establish trust. Our mission is to make the travel experience more personal and enjoyable!

High energy, organization, punctuality, and professionalism are a must.

Availability Requirements:

The study (beginning ASAP) demands 40 hours over 5 days per month. Fieldwork dates are flexible. Schedules will be made in conjunction with the market manager and are generally within the first half of each month.

This position is great for someone with a flexible schedule seeking supplemental income. People with a background in commission sales, customer service, acting, and/or promotions have had great success working on these projects. The ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced airport environment, and meet deadlines are key building blocks of success in this position.

Interviewers work independently following a personalized orientation and training. Flights depart at all times of the day and must be covered, including some early morning and late evening shifts.

Job Requirements:

-1 year interviewing, sales, or customer service experience

-High energy with an outgoing, positive attitude

-Highly self motivated and organized with a professional demeanor

-Ability to learn phrases in other languages

-Able to work in a busy Airport environment

-Basic working knowledge of excel

-Ability to operate a scanner

-Applicants must own a smart phone and working computer or Mac and possess basic operating skills

-Must live 45 minutes or less from IAH

-Business attire required

-Applicants must pass a federal background check per TSA regulations

-NOTE: Interviewers stay on feet for the majority of each shift and must be able to lift a minimum of 20lb

Interested parties must have the aforementioned availability, relevant experience, exceptional references and brilliant organizational skills.

Compensation: $11.50 – $25 per hour based on productivity.

Base Rate paid Monthly

Staff will earn an hourly base rate of $11.50, and typically complete work in 40 hours per month. This translates into $460 base pay.

Conditional Commission paid 30 days after end of the month

An additional generous commission is provided for reps who achieve a minimum number of recruited passengers per quarter. This additional compensation is calculated at the market rate of $5.00 for every Economy Class respondent and $10.25 for each Business Class respondent. If the Market rate returns exceed the hourly wages, interviewers are paid the difference in the form of a monthly commission. Historical data indicates an hourly recruiting rate of: 4.33 responses/hour which equates to $20-$25/hour once the commission is included.
