Manager, Gaming Commission Compliance and Licensing – Tahlequah, OK

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Public Administration; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

An additional four (4) years progressively responsible experience is required. Experience in accounting for governmental and enterprise operations and/or Indian Tribal governmental operations is highly preferred.


COMPUTER SKILLS

An individual should have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Must also have the ability to successfully complete a background investigation for and maintain a gaming license. The background investigation includes, but is not limited to, an examination of areas inclusive of family, personal, financial, educational, employment, and criminal history.
