Logistics Customer Service Manager – Riverside, CA 92507

Hey Dude Shoes is looking for a full-time Logistics Customer Service Manager for our apparel brands, Hey Dude Shoes and WeWood Watches. We are based in Riverside, CA. Our brands are growing at a fast pace, and we are looking for motivated individuals to grow with us.

The Logistics Customer Service Manager will oversee our daily service office operations, manage customer service employees and increase overall efficiency within the department. We are looking for an enthusiastic team leader who can manage more complex account needs, cultivate the talents of the team and be the liaise with Sales,Finance,Planning and Shipping to streamline operations and improve our standard of service. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assess current operational processes and pitch more efficient solutions
  • Troubleshoot more complex account issues and guide the team to solution
  • Set reasonable shipping and customer satisfaction goals and work with the team to meet them on a consistent basis
  • On-boarding and training of new employees
  • on boarding of new wholesale accounts
  • Guiding and teaching CS team members to improve and grow in their roles with the company
  • Reporting in progress, roadblocks, shipping numbers weekly to upper management
  • Hands on involvement in all customer service related duties
  • Managing day to day customer service operations including order entry processing and work order creation
  • Familiarity with retail chain customer requirements including routing guides.
  • Involvement with customer routing processes as needed
  • Develop and maintain SOP’s Related to the tasks and responsibilities of the team
  • Maintain various Excel logs
  • Handle inquiries via email, phone and fax
  • Communicate with Sales & shipping departments for status inquiries and relay to customers
  • Perform general administration tasks
  • EDI Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Account Management
  • Knowledge of ERP and WMS systems

Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience in wholesale apparel customer service
  • Must have experience within all departments, including Order Processing, EDI Processing and Allocations for Specialty, Department Store, International and Off-price Accounts
  • Must be able to use this extensive knowledge to identify problems and propose new processes and solutions
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Friendly, professional, respectful, strong and effective communication skills , both written and verbal
  • Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and problem solve
  • Ability to translate your skills to other employees through training and mentoring
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel
  • Experience with Google Drive and Sheets

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
