Lender Relations Specialist – Ridgeland, MS 39157

Vergent LMS is looking for a Lender Relations Specialist who will serve our customers by developing productive relationships and determining product solutions to meet business needs. They will build business by identifying potential clients, establishing the value of Vergent’s products for their specific business needs and fostering and maintaining the relationships throughout the duration of the lender/buyer relationship. At Vergent LMS our priority is to support our clients with personalized and exceptional products and services. The Lender Relations Specialist reports to the Vice President of
Sales & Lender Relationships.

 Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position and needs; research and analyze sales options.
 Develop and maintain relationships with prospects through consultative selling approaches that recommending solutions.
 Create and maintain lender/client relationships through dedicated support, continual education of products and services, and guidance on how to help them achieve the established goals of each business.

 Identify new markets by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.

 Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
 Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional development activities.

 Work well with CEO, COO and other employees as a positive team member.
 Must be a Team Player: you will work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our product, loan models, and compliance requirements
 Work with customers to develop new loan products, amendments to existing loan products, and software enhancements that are compliant with state and local statutes
 Work with our technical writers to product high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

The Lender Relations Specialist will be utilizing his/her knowledge and expertise of our products and services, based on client insight and feedback, and knowledge of processes and technical requirements in order to analyze the entire application system, handling processes, and key performance indicators. You will be responsible for the framework of crucial documents and must be able to quickly and efficiently gather requirements from our clients and convert that information into technical documentation.


 Experience working in requirements gathering, process documentation, and software development a plus

 Experience with loan calculations, amortization schedules, and interest rate validation is a major plus

 Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate those concepts verbally and in text

 Experience working closely with clients/end-users in a professional manner
 Excellent written skills in English
 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
 University degree or equivalent preferred
 Agile experience preferred.
