Lead Product Specialist – Twinsburg, OH

Role Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for growing the Reuter-Stokes Nuclear Power Generation Sensors (Nuc) and Industrial Sensing (IS) business globally by working with sales team to create new opportunities and to identify new applications and Customers. The role will work with the team to maximize success and to drive technical differentiation and set the strategy to develop a convertible orders pipeline.

Product Specialist develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and positively influence short-term and long-term business goals.

The position responsibilities will:

  • Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution for strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer strengths as supplemented by Reuter-Stokes products and services
  • Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers
  • Make recommendations for continued growth

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Product Specialist, you will:

  • Define and develop long term strategy for sustainable growth of Nuclear Power Generation Sensors (Nuc) and Industrial Sensing (IS) product lines globally
  • Partner with sales team to build pipeline by identifying new applications and sweet spot for our products
  • Works closely with the Reuter-Stokes Product Management Team to act as a regional voice in shaping future New Product Introductions (NPI)
  • Provide technical support for sales team including product training, carry out product demonstrations, and training for channel partners
  • Drive product presentations and seminars with customers through sales team and channel partners
  • Liaise between application engineering and sales team for timely generation of quotes and cost-effective solutions
  • Achieve global orders and sales targets for Reuter-Stokes engagement of sales teams in the region and drive global NPI strategies
  • Act as focal point to resolve quality issues related to Nuc and IS products
  • Drive NPI adoption with sales team providing necessary training on products and applications
  • Coordinate between product management team and Reuter-Stokes sales force to drive solutions for customer challenges
  • Assists in strategic and product marketing with gathering market data, analyzing new markets and market trends, tracking regulations, driving competitor analysis
  • Extensive travel may be required to support sales team, channel partners and customers

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Engineering or Technical field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of global experience in a technical role

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Travel 25% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Minimum 2 years associate product management or product specialist experience
  • Experience working in harsh environment sensors
  • Experience in nuclear or gas turbine power generation is
  • A background in industrial flame management is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial applications for product lines and markets
  • Integrative team working style
