What you will do

The Lead Tax Analyst – International, under direction of the Tax Counsel and Director of International Tax Planning, performs international tax planning and compliance duties and assists in tax project implementation, including support of other members of the global Tax Department. Ensures compliance with tax laws and minimizes the tax burden of the company.

How you will do it

  • Analyze financial information relevant to international tax planning and US international tax compliance
  • Participate in special projects and teams related to tax reduction opportunities, including working with departments outside of tax to complete projects
  • Lead the analysis and review of various E&P, tax basis and other studies to support international tax planning transactions
  • Lead processes within US international tax compliance to ensure all tax positions are documented and methodologies appropriately drafted and followed
  • Maintain and improve efficiency and accuracy of US international tax compliance tasks
  • Prepare and/or review US international tax return forms (5471, 8865, 8858, etc.)
  • Prepare and/or review calculations and documentation supporting other US international tax issues (FTC, GILTI, FDII, etc.)
  • Assist with transfer pricing issues, including royalty and intercompany cross charge calculations and transfer pricing documentation
  • Keep up to date on tax law changes, cases, rulings and regulations
  • Lead support to defend tax positions before the IRS and other tax authorities
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained and available to support any tax inquiry
  • Review various non-US tax provisions to ensure information is presented accurately in the financial statements of the company


What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience; CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive responsibility in international tax and compliance within a publicly-traded corporation or public accounting firm
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience with tax and accounting software (CorpTax, OneSource, HFM) a plus
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
