Our St. Francis hospital is seeking an experienced Lab System Analyst for our Laboratory. We are looking for your experience and knowledge where you will be responsible for:

Support patient care by directing, coordinating and maintaining activities of the LIS to provide optimum computer service to all users. Enhance Laboratory quality by participating in process improvement and maintaining regulatory compliance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective interfacing of multiple systems. This position supports the Laboratory Department and reports to the IS Ancillary Manager.

1) Direct, coordinate, and maintain activities of the LIS to provide effective computer service to all users.

2) Contribute to the success of the department’s development and performance improvement plans by supporting plan initiatives and participating in the process.

3) Support organizational priorities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

4) Participate in professional development for the advancement of Laboratory services.

Position Requirements:Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical or biological science.

4 years experience in a clinical laboraory

Overall knowledge of lab operations including quality control, safety and problem solving.
