International Operations Coordinator – Trevose, PA

We are currently seeking full time International Operations Coordinators to join our Operations Department located in Trevose, PA.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to be a part of a great team within a growing organization!

International Operations Coordinators work hand in hand with our medical team to coordinate medical assistance for our members. This is a key role that will coordinate international travel arrangements, flights, doctors appointments and payment guarantees by liaising internationally with providers on the ground and your colleagues in other regions, as well as working closely with our in-house medical team. You will also maintain accurate case records/documents by using our telecommunication and computer systems.

This role works on a shift pattern of 3 days on, 4 days off, 13 hours shifts, which will include night and day shifts.

  • Night Shift – 7:00PM to 8:00AM
  • Day Shift – 7:00AM to 8:00PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic, quality service to our customers
  • Handle cases and phone calls in an efficient manner, as for company protocol and client specific Standard Operations Procedures
  • Accurately notifies client as defined by company protocol and client specific Standard Operations Procedures
  • Acts as the first point of contact for new and existing cases and serves as the voice of International SOS for our clients
  • Maintains all cases in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Accurately and appropriately initiates Inter Assistance Center notification to facilitate delivery of care
  • Ensure the CD is aware of all medical reports and actions required during the shift
  • Works with Supervisor / Operations Manager and Security staff for all security related issues
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient and/or client information
  • Maintains the transmission document in a clear, accurate and concise format with the correct plan of action for hand over to the next shift
  • Actively participates in all transmission sessions with input regarding case actions and direction
  • Escalates all complaint or perceived complaint cases to the Operations Supervisor immediately
  • Action all incoming tasks, faxes, emails and correspondence pertaining to active and/or closed cases
  • Assist with the training of new Coordinators by mentoring them during their training program

Qualifications

  • Customer Service experience
  • Clear understanding of Geography
  • Global interests preferred
  • Travel or Study Abroad Experience a plus (Studies, Personal, Volunteer)
  • Volunteer Experience or Internships
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Proficient in Web Browsing and Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word)
  • College Graduate Preferred (Degree in: International Business, Language, Liberal Arts, Business Management a plus)
  • Fluent English
  • Fluency or proficiency in any other language is preferred (specifically – Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Mandarin)
  • Experience working in Banking or NGO preferred
  • Previous Professional Work Experience after or during College: Financial, Translation, Education

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Occasional domestic and or international travel may be required
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Passport
