Monroe Insurance Group is seeking a qualified professional to join our Blacksville, WV office as an Agent/Associate. Our ideal candidate would be highly motivated, goal driven, and passionate about providing exemplary customer service to current and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

Interact with customers, insurance underwriters, lenders, and other sources to present and sell all lines of insurance policies to new and existing clients

Offer comprehensive policy review and work to develop a coverage plan for clients that fits their needs

Effectively explain insurance products, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, claims, and billing to customers

Requirements:

Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal, written and the ability to listen

Detail Oriented with organizational skills

Positive attitude and enthusiasm

Outstanding Customer Service Skills

Strong Computer Skills, including MS Office Suite and various Insurance software

In-depth Knowledge of Insurance Product Lines (Preferred)

Strong Desire to Learn

4 Year Degree in Business, Marketing, or Related Field (Preferred)

Insurance/Sales Experience (Preferred)

Work independently, but excel as a team contributor as well

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
