Inside Sales Representative – Altamonte Springs, FL

This is not your typical sales job! We’re ready to invest in you through our paid licensing program and sales training class. We pride ourselves on being able to take people with little or no sales experience and train them to be successful Inside Sales Representatives. Our thorough training will ensure you are an expert on products for Plymouth Rock and its affiliate companies. There’s no need to generate your own leads, we bring the customers to you.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will build relationships with customers, educate them on our products, and offer insurance plans tailored to their needs. This position will be in a call center environment, selling home and auto insurance over the phone via inbound calls. Inside Sales Representatives maintain effective customer relations, implement sales referral programs, and support our customer retention programs. Successful candidates will demonstrate a competitive spirit, positive attitude, and desire to grow with us. Every supervisor in our sales center started in this position!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive inbound calls in an effort to quote and bind personal lines insurance products coverage for Plymouth Rock and its affiliate companies.
  • Provide an exceptional sales experience to prospects in order to meet sales targets and performance goals.
  • Prepare personalized insurance quotes to prospects and use assumptive closing techniques to close sales.
  • Generate sales through inbound calls and customer referrals.
  • Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule is a critical aspect of this position.
  • Hours for this position are: 11:00am-8:00pm Monday – Friday
    10:00am–3:00pm one Saturday per month


  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Products proficiency (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to define and relate appropriate products to the specific needs of customers.
  • Recent college grads encouraged to apply!
  • Prior sales and/or insurance experience is a plus.
  • Spanish-language fluency is a plus.
  • Education:

  • Must obtain a NJ Property & Casualty Insurance producer license within first 4 weeks of employment. (You will receive fully paid training and we will sponsor you for your insurance license).
  • Maintain continuing education requirements for the Property & Casualty license.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is a plus.
