HVAC Service Coordinator – Everett, WA

Best Mechanical serves both commercial and residential clients throughout the Puget Sound area and is now looking for a service coordinator to help us grow and take our company to the next level. We are looking for candidates who possess strong interpersonal communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customer. The ideal candidate will be bright and cheerful, full of positive energy. She/he will be willing to learn and take critique but also give helpful input that can lead to more success within the company. We are looking for someone who is on time, and deadline orientated. This job can be slow or it can be very fast paced. A self starting, self motivating individual will go very far here.

As a Service Coordinator, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Coordinates customer and client solutions promptly, professionally, courteously and seamlessly
  • Accountable for scheduling jobs productively and profitably, always sensitive to the needs and circumstances of customers and clients
  • Dispatches technicians, equipment and materials to people’s homes or to job sites, ensuring everything is done so as to exceed expectations
  • Obtains deposits, payments and “turn-in” from field and enforces company credit policies
  • Invoices, coordinates inspections, ensuring that provides a variety of reports, requiring thoroughness and accuracy
  • Resolves customer service issues effectively
  • May provide administrative support for projects, as requested
  • Handles accounts payable, assists in purchasing and inventory control

Needed skills & characteristics

  • A team builder and a team player, with no toleration for back-biting or negativity
  • Scheduling, dispatching, service coordination, especially with an field service company
  • Very proficient and accurate with numbers with ability to select profitable jobs
  • Moderate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and a variety of software applications;
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, ability to learn and work within Service Fusion
  • Highly organized, with the ability calmly and proficiently handle several things at once
  • Good judgment, discretion and initiative; ability to keep the right things confidential
  • Loyalty to Best Mechanical
  • Plays above the line (holding oneself accountable and not blaming others)*
