Greet and seat guests, manage table seating and answer phones

  • Experience in full service restaurant environment is helpful, but not required
  • Successful completion of Razzoos training for this position is required
  • Must be of legal age to operate certain equipment in compliance with federal, state or local laws

  • Manage and promote the specific Call-Ahead / reservation policies of the restaurant
  • Make guests comfortable while waiting
  • Manage wait list quoting accurate wait times
  • Select appropriate station and table or booth
  • Take guests to selected table/booth

  • Answer telephones and follow phone procedures
  • Take phone To-Go orders and deliver to Bartender
  • Defer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on Duty
  • Assist guests in seating of small children or special needs guests
  • Acknowledge guests who are leaving and invite them to return
  • Keep entrance area clean and stocked
  • Be observant of landscape and pick up trash as necessary
  • Check restrooms periodically; wipe counters, clean windows and pick up trash as necessary
  • Provide children with a balloon, childrens menu and crayons
  • Assist service staff by refilling beverages, clearing plates, and helping to maintain tables and serve guests
  • Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prep
  • Alert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in them
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in management
  • Participate in executing birthday celebrations
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Razzoos policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items (ice, plates, trash, etc.) up to 50 lbs.
  • Move about the kitchen areas quickly and carefully
  • Stand/walk during entire shift
  • Climb ladder when reaching for items that are on upper shelves
  • Ability to hear with accuracy over loud background noise
  • 20/20 Near Vision, with correction – the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Manual Dexterity – the ability to quickly move hand, hand and arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
