Graphics and Communications Specialist – Richmond, VA 23234

We are currently seeking a Graphics and Communications Specialist for our AGDC Sales Communications group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and execution of written and graphic content for digital media. They will be crafting designs that inspire, captivate, and inform multiple audiences.

Job Duties:

  • You will own the creation of logos, infographics, PowerPoint templates, and web design.

  • You’ll design, develop, and execute HTML emails with graphic visuals and attention-grabbing headlines.

  • You will be editing written internal and external communications to improve readability and effectiveness. This will include simplifying the language we use and finding visual ways to represent information.

  • You’ll be working with internal clients to take their direction and ideas and turn them into images, layouts, and other designs.

  • You will support multimedia content execution and strategy.

  • You’ll monitor, track, and report on content performance and use data and feedback to make recommended changes to content and campaigns.

Qualifications include:

  • BA or BS from a 4-year accredited university, with a focus on business, art, English, communications, graphic design, or related field.

  • Experience designing, developing, and executing electronic and print media such as web design, copy editing, HTML emails, infographics, logos, presentation templates.

  • Possess a deep knowledge of design software with proven capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch, InVision, Keynote and/or PowerPoint, and HTML emails.

  • Knowledge of HTML5, responsive design, SASS, Bootstrap and JavaScript, and experience with video editing not required, but considered a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Some travel may be required
