We are looking for a Monday to Friday – 4 hours each day part time General Clerk
Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks in support of the business office.

Ensures protected health information is kept confidential
Reports complaints made by patients to supervisor
Reports allegations of patient abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of patient property Safety and Sanitation ? Follows established safety policies and procedures
Observes safety needs of patients as indicated in care plan
Wears and/or uses safety equipment and supplies when indicated and properly trained to use
Demonstrates job-specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations Staff Development
Attends and participates in scheduled in-service training, educational classes
Participates in QAA program
Attends and participates in Circle of Care classes General Clerk Responsibilities
Performs routine, recordkeeping tasks ? Transforms information from one record to another, such as writing patient identification taken from medical records on the outside of file envelopes of folders.
Prepares lists of activities in the department, such as posting on a standardized form the names of patients admitted to center.
Cross-indexes documents and records by following a prescribed coding system and copying information on file cards.
Sorts documents according to subject matter and arranges them in alphabetical, numerical, or chronological order.
Files materials; Looks up information or retrieves materials from files as requested.
Maintains files by making appropriate entries when materials are added or removed.
May answer telephones, take and relay messages, make appointments, answer limited questions, and sort/distribute mail. ? Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
High School Diploma, preferred.
Primarily sedentary in nature with lifting less than ten pounds; reaching, handling, fingering, near-visual acuity, talking and hearing.
Transportation/Appointments for patients
Inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas.
