Comprehensive Chiropractic, a 25 year old, multidisciplinary practice, is looking for a chiropractor who is trained in functional medicine to join our team. The functional medicine provider will help facilitate our holistic approach to patient’s health challenges using the foundations of functional medicine.
The provider will have flexibility with their schedule and the ability to contribute to the growth and development of the functional medicine department.
The ideal candidate would be a licensed chiropractor in good standing in the state of Missouri with a functional medicine certification from a functional medicine-training program or is close to completion of their certificate. They should have a friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and clinical competency. They must be willing to work collaboratively with the other providers in the practice on behalf of the patient. They need to be able to keep accurate and complete medical records, and they must be someone who likes people and enjoys engaging closely with patients.
The provider will facilitate 1-2 monthly webinar/workshops for the purpose of education, one highlighting the foundations of functional medicine for new patients and perspective patients new to the field of functional medicine, and one on a specific topic relative to functional medicine, such as immune boosting strategies, sleep hygiene, anti-inflammatory eating, etc. The provider should possess a willingness to participate in content generation for social media as well as conduct programing to foster education amongst for patients. The provider must be willing to have communication directly with patients answering questions and pointing them in direction to resources, as well as assist in developing resources for patients.
The functional medicine provider will be supported in all practice administration and marketing programs.
Supplements will be available in the office for sale as well as through our online platform and commission will be paid on supplement sales volume.
The position will consist of four days a week in the office with occasional off-hour events/meetings/trainings. There is flexibility on how the provider structures their days in the clinic.
