Front Desk Receptionist ACPT ACPT

Front Desk Receptionist will perform various administrative duties. Responsibilities are but not limited to arriving and greeting of visitors, answering calls, new patient intake, scheduling, insurance verifications, authorizations, scanning, faxing, filing, data entry, accounts receivable and maintaining information within the company electronic medical record system (EMR).Shifts are 2 mornings 7-3pm 2 evening shifts 11:30-7:30p Monday – Thursday & Friday 9-5pm or 8:30-4:30pm.

Essential Functions

  • Greeting and assisting patients when they arrive
  • Answering telephones and directing calls as needed
  • Converse with patients regarding medical insurance, as well as verifying patient eligibility, Copayments and or balances
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service to every patient
  • Operate office equipment, such as phones, computers, fax machines, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining patient information in EMR
  • Perform various other clerical or administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience using an EMR a plus
  • Experience in a high volume office a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
