Donahue & Sons has openings for the following Professional Laborer positions:

We care for commercial & industrial sites like landfills, power plants, right of ways & communication sites.

Position: Fence installer / Team lead


Proficient in installing, and repairing chain link fence

The know-how to measure and price out both new installation fence jobs and repair jobs

The ability to work independently and in a team, setting running a crew.

Running a string trimmer (weed whacker) for 6-8 hours a day is a common task.

Experience running a walk-behind mower, zero turn mower, skid steer, and tractor with multiple attachments is a plus.

Usage of a hand brush & pressure washer to clean objects.

Ability to haul a trailer (will need a medical card)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job,

Employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

Employee frequently is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, kneel, bend-over, pull, and push for up to 10 hours a day.

Employee frequently is required to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.

Employee is frequently required to handle/use hand tools, small equipment and large equipment.

Employee is constantly exposed to outside weather conditions.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud on several occasions.

Minimum Experience:

Candidate should display good communication skills

Candidates must have reliable, personal transportation to the shop or job site.

Consistently meet or exceed job requirements

A hoisting license is preferred (NOT Required)
