Wendy’s fast food restaurants are exceptionally clean and well-run facilities that are predictable in terms of guest and restaurant team expectations. The Wendy’s District Manager manages the operations of at least 4 Wendy’s restaurants, including the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while promoting ethical business practices and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The District Manager is a confident decision-maker, highly practiced in guest contact, employee management, business and financial management, people motivation, and communications. The District Manager supports the enterprise by creating and maintaining an “Employer of Choice” environment and by providing leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and team members alike.

All employees in a management or supervisory position within Wendy’s Restaurants must possess a Serve-Safe Certification within 60 days of their hire date.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with leadership team to meet budgeted sales goals by ensuring expedient and friendly guest service
  • Manages food, labor, paper costs, and other controllable expenses
  • Provides proper training for all managers through established systems and follow through to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Trains, monitors, and reinforces food safety procedures
  • Ensures food safety procedures are executed according to company policies and health/sanitation regulations
  • Executes company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment
  • Monitors inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability
  • Manages and maintains safe working conditions
  • Manages all levels of store management to effectively reduce management turnover
  • Responsible to train and implement all Wendy’s operating procedures and product roll outs
  • Anticipates and identifies problems and initiates appropriate corrective action
  • Maintains fast and accurate service and positive guest relations and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of multi unit restaurant experience at a minimum
  • College degree or equivalent experience in operations
  • Guest-friendly demeanor
  • Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
  • Able to lift 35 pounds to waist level
  • Serve Safe Certified
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency
  • Willing to assume around-the-clock responsibility for restaurant operations
  • Willing to work normal schedule of 50+ hours per week (all shifts)
