Autodata Solutions is looking for a Digital Program Director to join their growing team!

Position Overview

The onsite Digital Program Director oversees and leads the digital Dealer solutions program for an OEM client. The position is the point of contact for all defined program deliverables and will effectively oversee multiple projects and work streams to ensure program delivery is on time and within budget, while exceeding client expectations. The Digital Program Director will oversee all program activities supported by a team consisting of digital solution managers, field team, product marketing, training and technology.

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall digital Dealer program to execute and achieve stated business objectives and ensure success with the OEM and their Dealers
  • Work directly with the OEM dedicated personnel onsite to deliver day-to-day operational elements of program
  • Assess client needs and determine best solution to exceed the client’s expectations
  • Oversee a team of digital solution managers and provide direction to cross-functional teams including, field Dealer digital consultants, marketing/training and technology managers
  • Development and deliver presentations for clients regarding program status and results
  • Manage the relationships with our valued vendors (website, digital advertising, chat, trade-in, etc.)
  • Review all deliverables prepared by team before passing to client, as this position owns the client relationship and is the face of Autodata to the OEM
  • Work with program managers to deliver business requirements and project plans as appropriate to meet changing client needs and requirements
  • Manage project and program level financials to ensure program financial targets are achieved
  • Work closely with the internal delivery teams to ensure alignment in all communications, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Ensure project estimates, schedule and terms of SOW are being adhered to
  • Effectively communicate relevant program level information to stakeholders
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain an ongoing, clear and reasonable vision of ‘next steps’ and the ‘big picture’ with the client and own the program overview
  • Overall supervision and work delegation of solution managers, and direction and priority setting for cross-functional team including, field digital consultants, marketing/training manager, and technology manager
  • Establish individual and team objectives plus take ownership in assisting each team member in achieving their personal objectives and career goals
  • Performance management, mentoring and coaching of personnel, perform regular One-on-One’s and facilitate team meetings


  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience working directly with clients in digital marketing
  • 3-5+ years working in the automotive industry with some time in automotive digital marketing companies preferred
  • General understanding in the areas of automotive digital marketing, websites, digital advertising, leads, CRM, marketing analytics, ROI, etc.
  • Understanding and or experience working with Dealers or Dealer groups on digital marketing programs, consulting or executing campaigns
  • Engaging personality with the ability to connect with a diverse range of people
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to lead internal and external meetings and be an articulate and active participant, ensuring the discussion stays on track
  • Ability to deliver instructions in a clear and concise manner; providing the proper materials and documentation when necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident with group presentations
  • Identify risk and work with other leader and internal group to resolve conflict
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to pay attention to details
  • Take ownership and accountability over the process ensuring success
  • OEM and Dealer oriented team player with the ability to motivate the internal team while providing program leadership
