The Dietary Aid is an integral part of the dietary team under the supervision of the community Food Service Director.
Maintain a positive attitude, treating others as you would like to be treated Assist with resident meal delivery and clean up Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
18 years of age or older and high school diploma or GED Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language
Expectations and Responsibilities
Contribute to an encouraging servant leader culture and environment for associates Assist with preparation of meals including refilling condiments, brewing coffee and tea, and other duties as assigned Verify meal requests of residents and communicate same with cook Promptly bus tables after meals and reset tables for next meal with silverware/stemware/coffee mugs/cloth napkins. Replace clean tablecloth toppers when needed Responsible for assisting with the daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen dish room, pantry, and dining room Follow safety regulations and precautions at all times Appropriately secure kitchen and equipment when applicable Demonstrate dependable work habits Proper dress, conduct, and professionalism is to be evident at all times This position may require exertion of 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and other lesser lifting as required.:
This position will be working in the kitchen and dining room.
Working closely with other kitchen staff.
