Dental Receptionist/ Front Manager – North Richland Hills, TX 76180

As an office manager, some of your Responsibilities will entail; Achieving financial performance and revenue growth goals. Act as an expert in the local market, employing best practices for patient acquisition and retention. Providing direct individual and team leadership to achieve group success.

The Office Manager is a crucial team member of the staff-driven dental office. This is a management position responsible for all of the non-clinical operational success of the office. The role includes overseeing all dental office teams. It requires the ability to multi-task, address large and minor staffing issues, ensure that each team member is able to complete his or her responsibilities each day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hold meetings with staff.
  • Manage, organize and maintain the functions associated with the operation of the front desk, including scheduling, collections and data entry.
  • Ensure providers’ schedules are maintained, full, and are balanced efficiently.
  • Evaluate and review office production and procedures.
  • Improve operational efficiency.
  • Improve New Patient growth.
  • Improve patient retention.
  • Recruit, retain committed team members and identify and resolve employee issues.
  • Implement proper employee training methodologies.
  • Manage practices daily production and profitability goals to ensure operational and financial effectiveness.
  • Maintain/Oversee staff schedules, time clocks and payroll.
  • Monitor/Oversee ordering of clinical and office supplies.
  • Create, develop and implement administrative systems to process insurance claims and reduce outstanding patient and insurance AR
  • Monitor and certify compliance with all relevant state dental laws and with all relevant state and federal labor laws.
  • Manage the condition of the office and arranging necessary repairs.
  • Enhance positive support and encouragement among team members to achieve all other relevant objectives of a successful dental practice.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
